An inmate at a state prison at Licking died early Tuesday morning, officials said.
Dead is Earl Clark, 71, who had been incarcerated since May 31, 1994. He was held on a life sentence plus 20 years for first-degree assault, armed criminal action, two counts; and first-degree robbery in St. Louis.
Officials said he died of apparent natural causes at the South Central Correctional Center.
