An event that benefits Texas County Relay for Life will result in waves of pink at Tiger Stadium on Friday, Oct. 19.
Persons are encouraged to wear pink as part of the event, which benefits the American Cancer Society. A special T-shirt has been created and is available for sale. Cost is $12. Persons interested in purchasing one can stop by Neal’s Sporting Goods in downtown Houston or call Terisa Ward at Houston Elementary School at 417-967-3024. The deadline is Wednesday.
Special games and other activities are planned when the Tigers play Mountain View-Liberty.
