City of Houston Parks and Recreation Department Director Jim Root announced that beginning this week, the city pool will be open Saturdays from noon to 5 p.m. and Sundays from 1 to 5 p.m. through Sept. 2, as well as from noon to 5 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 3 (Labor Day).
The normal fee of $3 per person, per day will apply, and season passes will continue to be honored.
