The following are other matters recently dealt with by Houston police:
Aug. 3
––Sterling Moore, 19, of 3501 W. Sunshine St. in Springfield, was arrested for having two active Houston municipal warrants. An officer made the arrest at the Texas County Fair after observing Moore and being aware of the warrants.
––A Solo man and a Houston woman were each issued citations for peace disturbance following an argument at about 2 p.m. outside the Houston Middle School.
Cited were Jennifer D. Cass, 28, of 306 Broadway St. in Houston, and Richard S. Mann, Jr. 26, of 16590 Highway Z in Solo. Cass was also cited for failure to obey after she began yelling and cursing while an officer was speaking to Mann and refused to stop.
Aug. 4
––Nekota S. Neal, 18, of 11804 Highway 32 at Roby, was issued a citation for minor in possession of alcohol by consumption. An officer investigating a separate incident at Emmett Kelly Park at about 12:30 a.m. cited Neal after smelling alcohol coming from his person while speaking to him, according to a report.
Aug. 5
––Anthony D. Long, 31, of 15325 Piney Drive at Bucyrus, was issued citations for driving with a suspended license and having no proof of insurance after a traffic stop at about 7:20 p.m. on Highway 17.
An officer made the stop after observing Long driving and already being aware that his license was suspended.
Aug. 9
––Shannon L. Cross, 26, of 719A Augusta St. in Houston, was arrested at his residence for having an active Texas County warrant for possession of a controlled substance and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia. He was taken to the Texas County Jail where he was unable to post $150,000 bond.
Aug. 10
––Christina M. White, 45, of 20540 Beerock Road at Raymondville, was issued a citation for driving while license revoked after a traffic stop at about 1:25 p.m. on Highway B.
An officer made the stop after observing a camouflage-colored truck swerving in the oncoming lane. A computer check revealed that the driver – White – had a revoked license.
