Don’t forget the dates for this year’s Houston Alumni Association homecoming event are Sept. 14-15. The coincides with homecoming activities at Houston.
The parade line-up is 12:30 p.m. Alumni honored during the parade will be classes ending in “2” and “7.” The parade is at 2 p.m. Homecoming queen coronation is 6:30 p.m. The 7 p.m. football game is against Cabool.
The next day, an alumni breakfast runs from 7 to 10 a.m. at the Houston Senior Center. Cost is $6.
The sixth annual alumni baseball game begins at 11 a.m. An alumni mixer is 2-4 p.m. A short program begins at 3 p.m. Many classes are also having reunions.
On Sunday, there is a Houston Lions Club fish fry from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the community building on North U.S. 63. A musical gala to benefit the Paul Ice Memorial Scholarship is 2 to 4 p.m. at First Baptist Church.
