Several items providing evidence of methamphetamine production were found by Texas County Sheriff's Deparment officers last week at a Robertson Lane residence at Licking.

As a result of two July 9 incidents in which Texas County Sheriff’s Department officers discovered methamphetamine manufacturing operations at homes in Licking, two men now face drug charges.

Texas County Prosecuting Attorney Mike Anderson charged both William S. Callahan, 55; and Michael S. Skouby, 31, with attempt to manufacture a controlled substance.

Callahan was arrested at the Kitchem Road location of the reported meth lab for having an outstanding warrant for possession of a controlled substance. He was taken to the Texas County Jail with bond set at $400,000.

Skouby’s bond was set at $750,000. He was also charged with a parole violation and was returned to the Missouri Department of Corrections. He will be brought back to Texas County for court actions regarding his new charge.
