Vikki L. Hebert, 40, of Licking, was arrested for possession of controlled substances following a traffic stop at about 10:40 p.m. last Thursday.
An officer with the Licking Police Department observed a Ford Ranger truck traveling south on Dogwood Street fail to stop at a stop sign and turning onto Maple Avenue without using a turn signal.
After pulling the car over, the officer obtained consent to search the vehicle and located prescription medication for which the driver – Hebert – did not have a prescription.
Hebert was transported to the Texas County Jail and incarcerated on a 24-hour hold pending the formal filing of charges.
