Absentee ballot requests for the August Primary totaled just 267 on Tuesday morning, according to the Texas County clerk’s office.
Persons wanting to vote by absentee ballot can stop by the clerk’s office in the Texas County Administrative Center. Voters also can cast ballots from 8 a.m. until noon Saturday, Aug. 4.
The election is Tuesday, Aug. 7.
