The sixth annual upper Current River cleanup and kayak giveaway is Saturday, June 16. Registration is 8-9 a.m. at Cedar Grove, Akers or Pulltite. A barbecue supper will be served at 6:30 p.m. at Round Spring picnic pavilion. The rain date is June 30. The Upper Big Piney River cleanup is Saturday, June 23. Registration begins at 8 a.m. at the Boiling Springs access on the Big Piney River at the end of Highway BB southwest of Licking.
