Ben Adey, whose stage name is Ben Blaque has been performing a crossbow act at the Kirby VanBurch Theater in Branson for seven years in which he executes moves like shooting a balloon out of a girl’s mouth and slicing a newspaper in half while being accompanied by choreographed music and dance.
Blaque recently auditioned in St. Louis for the seventh season of NBC’s America’s Got Talent and qualified to appear on the show. He and other contestants will begin their quest for the show’s top prize of a million dollars and the opportunity to be a headline act in a Las Vegas show when the season’s first episode airs on May 14.
Blaque is the son of Dale and Joann Adey of Houston.
