The Houston tennis team lost a pair of home matches last week.
On Friday, the Tigers were defeated 5-4 by Willow Springs. The previous day, Salem blanked Houston 9-0.
The Tigers won all three doubles matches against Willow Springs. Austin Bathon and Randy Barker won 7-5, Chris Moore and Eli Todd were 6-4 winners and Olivia Woosley and Lizzy Swindell won 6-2.
Houston’s lone singles victory was Swindell’s 8-6 win.
JUNIOR VARSITY: Patience Clinton won her singles match 6-4 Friday against Willow Springs.
