Three persons face fighting charges after their arrest on Houston’s Augusta Street.
Arrested after the March 29 scuffle were Darrell L. Aldrich, 36, of 816 Augusta St., Apt. A; Jeremy D. King, 19, of 625 W. Highway 17; and Joshua A. Jennings, 19, of 777 West Highway 17, Apt. 1.
An officer reported that the fighting began when Jennings was walking home from a friend’s house and passed near King’s home. Jennings apparently yelled something at King, who yelled back and the two became involved in a physical altercation. Aldrich, who lives near King, reportedly came outside to investigate and became part of the fracas after also yelling something.
After the officer involved detected the smell of alcohol coming from King, he admitted to drinking vodka and was also ticketed for minor in possession of alcohol by consumption.
When the officer arrived at the scene, a Missouri State Highway Patrol trooper who had been called to assist was already there and had two of the fighters restrained in handcuffs.
