A Cabool man charged as a parole absconder was arrested Thursday in Phelps County, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
Paul B. Preece, 35, was arrested on a probation and parole warrant and on a misdemeanor warrant from Webster County for failure to appear on a passing bad check charge.
He was taken to the Phelps County Jail and held, according to a report.
