The Houston Police Department on Feb. 2 issued citations for third-degree assault and disturbing the peace.
Police cited Megan L. Neal, 28, of 306 W. Chestnut St. in Houston, after an incident at her mother’s residence.
Neal was charged after her 48-year-old mother came to the police station and reported the incident. Her mother stated that Neal had yelled at her and thrown a remote control and a soda at her, and that she continued after being asked to stop.
Neal was already on probation, and her parole officer issued a probation and parole warrant.
Neal was taken to the Texas County Jail.
