An 82-year-old Solo man came to the Texas County Sheriff’s Department office last week to report several items had been stolen from a shop building on his Highway UU property.
The man said the swiped items included a guitar valued at $600 and welding leads totaling $600. He said he had located the guitar at a Mountain Grove pawnshop and purchased it back for $60.
The man named his step-grandson, who has been living with him, as a suspect.
