A man is charged with stealing gasoline at a local business.
Jeffery A. Mabrey, 41, of 205 Chestnut Terrace in Houston, was issued a citation for stealing under $500 after reportedly leaving without paying Aug. 13 for $26.85 worth of gasoline from Casey’s General Store on South Sam Houston Blvd. Houston.
An off-duty employee of the store reportedly observed Mabrey committing the crime and called police. Mabrey was ticketed at the Houston City Hall while waiting for municipal court to start.
