It’s always a crowd pleaser – the annual demolition derby at the Texas County Fair-Old Settlers Reunion.
Competition began Friday and concluded Saturday night, the final evening of the fair.
Here are the winners:
Pure Stock Class: Devin James, Solo, first; Jody Jones, Raymondville, second; and Jamie Martin, Raymondville, third.
Modified Stock Class: Jim Wagner, Rolla, first; Fred Martin, Licking, second; and Kyle Head, Salem, third.
Powder puff winners were Tina Gregg, Mountain Home; and Kate Harper, Houston.
Best performance winners, formerly known as “hardest hit” – Qualifying heats: Brian Butts, Willie Storm, Bill Ramsey, Adam Fleming and Lonnie Evans. Finals: Jody Jones, Bill Ramsey, Jeff Peeples and Willie Storm.
