Texas County Collector Tammy Cantrell reminds property owners that Thursday is the last day to pay taxes without a penalty.
Cantrell’s office is in the county annex on Main Street in Houston. Property owners also can drop their payment in the mail.
The office will be closed Friday for the New Year’s holiday.
