A Houston man was arrested early Friday following an assault at an apartment building on Spruce St.
Houston police said Michael L. Hinton, 57, is charged with unlawful use of a weapon, a knife; third-degree assault of a 29-year-old man; and resisting or interfering with arrest.
Offices said Hinton is also charged with burglary after he forced himself into an apartment, where he thought two persons linked to his stolen TV were located.
Hinton arrived with a knife and punched a man who fled to a bedroom while two others looked on.
Police said he refused to comply with a request to move himself to the floor. A deputy used a Taser to subdue Hinton, who had the knife with a seven-inch blade in his pocket.
He is held on $250,000 bond.
