The Houston Lady Tigers fell to 0-2 Monday night with a 52-40 road loss at West Plains.
Jessica Herndon hit three 3-pointers en-route to a team-high nine points. Erica Keeney added eight points.
West Plains built on a three-point advantage by outscoring Houston 14-8 in the third quarter.
Seven of the Lady Tigers’ 15 field goals were 3-pointers. Herndon, Shelbi Moore, Tory Burgess and Kelsi Adey all connected from downtown.
JUNIOR VARSITY: Alexa Ichord scored five points in the Lady Tigers’ 49-15 loss Monday at West Plains.
Kenzie Scheets added four points for Houston (0-1), which trailed 22-5 after the first quarter.
