Several Houston-area dancers will perform Dec. 1 in “A Christmas Sampler” at the Summersville Community Center.

The 7 p.m. show features a two-part theme, recital favorites and lavish sections of “The Nutcracker Ballet,” said Dollie Hodge, director of Ozark Ballet and Dance Theatre. The show is sponsored by Bethel Community Church of Summersville.

Proceeds from concessions benefit Summersville Community Center. Light sandwiches and dinner items are available beginning at 5:30 p.m.

Several Houston residents are performing, including Lydia Dixon and her father, Rick, and brothers, Josh and Justin; Madison and Hannah Dixon; and Jaden Beasley.

The cost of the show is $7 for adults and $5 for age 12 and under. Those 4 and under are free. To learn more, call 417-932-4162.
