A Summersville girl who was a passenger in a van that struck a deer Friday night received injuries, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
Ariel Morgan was riding in a 1998 Ford Windstar van that hit the animal about two miles south of Raymondville on Highway 137, said Tpr. Myron Downey. The driver was Ruth A. Taber, 53, of Summersville.
Ariel was taken to Texas County Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.
