A Mountain View man was hurt Thursday night when his 1999 Pontiac hydroplaned on wet Highway 17, running off the road before striking a retaining wall and guardrail, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
Aaron L. Lawson, 32, was northbound about four miles north of Mountain View when the crash occurred, said Tpr. Myron Downey of the patrol. Lawson, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken by ambulance to St. Francis Hospital at Mountain View.
