A 29-year-old Licking woman received injuries Monday afternoon when she attempted to miss a deer, ran off the highway and struck a tree.
Velena D. Ingram, 29, sustained minor injuries in the crash about two miles west of Montauk State Park. She was transported by ambulance to Texas County Memorial Hospital, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report.
