A former Summersville woman and board member for a not-for-profit organization there faces felony charges related to stealing.
Texas County Prosecutor Mike Anderson charged Tamela Q. Schulte, 50, with felony stealing of property or services totaling more than $25,000 last year. She is a former board member of Helping Hands of the Ozarks, which operates the Summersville Youth Center.
According to court records, a warrant was issued for her arrest on July 21. She resides at Piedmont.
She also faces four felony counts of forgery dating to September 2008. An arraignment is set for 9 a.m. Aug. 28 in Texas County Associate Court.
