Texas County Girl Scouts will have a kickoff swim party from 6-8 p.m. Saturday at the Houston Swimming Pool.
Interested girls may sign up for the organization at the party. Sarah Reese, an organizer of the event, said new troops will be started in Houston, Raymondville and Success. Leaders will be needed for each town.
