Three Summersville teenagers were injured – two of them seriously – in a crash Tuesday south of their hometown, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
Sgt. J.S. Brumble said an eastbound 2001 Dodge Neon ran off the left side of Highway O, struck a tree and overturned. The driver was Cheyenne H. Mira, 16.
The driver and a passenger, Kyli McNew, 15, had serious injuries. Mikayla Odom, another passenger, had moderate injuries. She was the only one wearing a seat belt, Brumble said.
All three were flown to St. John’s Hospital in Springfield.
The car was totaled.
