Texas County Memorial Hospital and Texas County University Extension are hosting a live cooking demonstration as part of the Texas County Health Lifestyles Initiative. Cammie Younger, nutrition and health education specialist with the Texas County University Extension, and Jason Edwards, a registered dietitian, will present the program, “Cooking Delicious, Nutritious Meals on a Budget.”
The meeting will be at 2 p.m. Friday, July 17, in the dining area at the Houston Senior Center, 601 S. Grand Ave. The meeting is free and open to the public. No reservations are required.
