A May 20 fire that gutted a Houston house is classified as arson.
Authorities said Monday that they have no doubt that the fire was intentionally set and have conducted interviews as part of the investigation.
Firemen were called to the structure at Mill and Broadway streets after smoke was seen pouring from the two-story structure, which is owned by Kathleen Fiquet.
The house, which was reported vacant, sustained heavy damage.
The Missouri State Fire Marshal’s office is preparing a report, which hasn’t been completed yet.
