The Houston Optimist Club has extended its deadline for a $500 scholarship available to 2009 Houston High School graduates.
The organization said applications can be submitted before July 1. They may be picked up or returned at Landmark Bank or Neal’s Sporting Goods.
The scholarship is available to any HHS graduate attending a college or technical school this fall.
