Houston police will seek charges against two persons in the theft of about $23,000 in Missouri Lottery tickets taken from a local business.

An inventory in July turned up the missing tickets at Houston’s Bullseye. A supervisor was tipped off after a worker at another business became suspicious about the number of tickets redeemed there by a worker at Bullseye.

The review of ticket redemptions shows several tied to Bullseye on South Sam Houston Blvd. Questioned by police, one employee confessed to the scheme and implicated another worker who last week refused to take a polygraph test, Houston police said Monday.

The suspects – who have been not named – are described as a 25-year-old Bucyrus woman and a 31-year-old Cabool woman. A detailed report seeking charges against the pair will be delivered to the county prosecutor’s office, police said.
