Sophomore Sarah Pierce had a team-best six kills and 10 assists to lead the Houston varsity volleyball team past rival Licking 25-19, 25-14 Monday night.
Tory Burgess also had 10 assists for the Lady Tigers, who defeated Licking in their season opener as well.
Erica Keeney had five kills for Houston (3-5), which got three kills apiece from Kortney Huffman, Amber Honig and Lainey Casper. Keeney led the team with 11 digs.
