A benefit is planned for a Houston baby born 3 1/2 months premature.
Blake Ammons, son of Bryan Ammons and Marcie Earls, was delivered Aug. 8 and weighed 1 pound, 11 ounces. Since his birth, he’s added weight, tipping the scales at 2 pounds, 12 ounces. He remains hospitalized on a ventilator at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield.
A potluck dinner with music and silent auction is planned for 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 25, at Moose Coffee on South Sam Houston Blvd. in Houston. A special fund also is established at First National Bank in Houston.
