Lynn and Mary Gayer of 517 Hawthorn are winners of the yard-of-the-month contest sponsored by the Houston Garden Club.
Other winners are: Bruce and Imogene Wilson, second, 421 Bryan; and Marylee Lowry, third, 614 W. Chestnut.
The business award went to The Bank of Houston.
