Houston police are investigating vandalism at two local businesses, the department reported.
Officers were called to Pit Stop Convenience on April 19, where a front door had been shot with either a BB or pellet gun.
They also answered a call at Mid-Missouri Loan Center at 801 S. Sam Houston Blvd on April 19. A front door glass and a window located on the north side of the building had been shot with had appeared to be a BB or pellet gun. The glass was still intact, but it sustained a star-shaped fracture.
In other matters, police:
-Cited Michael W. Betts, 53, of Elk Creek, with DWI on April 15.
-Are investigating an assault at a residence at 323 Hamrick. Police are looking for a 33-year-old Huggins man for questioning after the April 12 incident.
-Cited Nicole A. R. Hooper, 16, of Bucyrus with failing to yield the right-of-way that led to an April 18 accident. Police said she pulled from a stop sign on eastbound Highway F at U.S. 63 and struck a truck pulling a trailer operated by Danny C. Sartain, 47, of Mountain View, Ark., that was traveling north on U.S. 63.
-Arrested Lonnie R. Royal, 27, of Licking, on a probation and parole warrant on April 17.
