Louis and Doreen White of Highlandville announce the engagement of their daugher, Kathleen J. Deems, to Alex G. McGuire, son of Danny and Dana McGuire of Houston.
Deems is a 2005 graduate of Springfield Home School Association and is training coordinator and assistant to promotions at Bass Pro Shops in Springfield.
McGuire is a 2005 graduate of Houston High School and is seeking a degree in fire science technology at Ozarks Technical Community College in Springfield. He is also employed at Bass Pro Shops.
An April 19 wedding is planned at Samuel Cedars at Rogersville.
