Texas County’s unemployment rate stood at 6.8 percent in January, reports the Missouri Department of Economic Development.
That’s down slightly from the previous month when it stood at 7 percent.
Area counties and their figures: Douglas, 7.1; Howell, 5.3; Shannon, 8.7; and Wright, 7 percent.
