The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) online traveler information map, which had experienced technical difficulties earlier today, has been restored. Customers may go online at http://www.modot.org/ to view the latest flood conditions for state maintained highways.
Motorists are asked to exercise extreme caution if they must be on the roadways. Due to extensive rains received during the day and a prediction of more rain throughout the night, flooding will continue to be an issue in several areas.
MoDOT does not recommend attempting to cross water covered roadways, particularly those with moving water. Barricades and cones have been placed in areas identified as unsafe to cross. Please heed these warnings for your safety.
