Celebration for Life has finalized plans for this year’s after-prom and after-graduation activities.

Following prom April 26, students will travel to the Summersville Youth Center for a night of activities that will include a 90-minute performance by a comedy hypnotist and the opportunity to skate and play many games like basketball, volleyball, pool and video games. Pizza and other foods and drinks will be provided.

On May 16, seniors and their guests will be taken to Incredible Pizza in Springfield for after-graduation. Students will receive a $10 game card to use in the arcade, which will later be turned on for 1 1/2 hours of unlimited play. Two undetermined activities – go-carts, bumper cars, mini bowling or mini golf – will be available, and a movie will be shown inside the theater.

Before returning to Houston, students will receive an early breakfast of cinnamon rolls. Every HHS student attending the event will receive $50 cash.

The Celebration for Life committee is still seeking financial help. Donations can be mailed to P.O. Box 275, Houston, MO 65483.
