Think you know auto racing? It’s not to late to prove it.
The Houston Herald opened its free online NASCAR Pick ‘Em Contest this week. Only the your top 15 scores from the entire season count, so you haven’t missed your opportunity to play. You can do so by clicking on the logo at the Herald’s Web site, www.houstonherald.com.
Playing the game is simple. Select the top 10 finishers each week at least 15 minutes before the race begins. The computer does the rest, tabulating your score and providing a local and national leaderboard.
Make the game even more fun by forming a private group among friends and office colleagues. A messageboard is included.
E-mail alerts will remind users to make their weekly picks. If a driver in your top 10 doesn’t make the field, you will be alerted by e-mail.
Create your free username and password today. The top national prize is a trip to the Richard Petty Driving Experience, which allows the winner to get behind the wheel or ride-along in a NASCAR style stock car.
