Two Texas County women were injured Friday in separate accidents on icy roads.
A Licking woman’s car was totaled Friday morning when she lost control on ice on U.S. 63 just north of her hometown.
Tiffany J. Mesger, 27, received minor injuries in the crash after the 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt ran off the roadway and overturned. She was taken to Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston.
Tpr. Curtis Hubbs said she was wearing a seat belt at the time.
A 38-year-old Licking woman was injured Friday morning when her van hit a patch of ice on West Highway 32, slid off the roadway and struck a concrete culvert.
Cpl. Eric Hackman of the patrol said Jeanne L. Kinder, 38, sustained minor injuries and was taken to Phelps County Regional Medical Center at Rolla.
Hackman said Kinder was wearing a seatbelt.
