Three Texas County teenagers were hurt this afternoon in a crash about 10 miles west of Salem.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol said a 2004 Jeep Wrangler was traveling westbound when it ran off the right side of the roadway. Driver Dalton W. Wilson, 17, of Houston, overcorrected and the vehicle ran off the left side of the roadway, struck a dirt embankment and overturned into a wooded area, the patrol said.
Wilson and two passengers, Skyler Ward, 17, and Joshua A. York, 17, both of Houston, were taken to Salem Memorial Hospital with minor injuries. All were wearing seat belts. The Jeep was totaled.
