The Missouri Department of Transportation said striping was completed on U.S. 63 through Houston this week.
Concerns about paint caused a delay from the previous week. The stretch of road includes south of Cleveland Road and ends at Main Street.
A diamond-grinding process – designed to smoothen the pavement – was completed by Chester Bross Construction Co. of Hannibal. The project’s price tag is $113,407.
