“Parade of Patriots” is the theme of this year’s Licking PRCA/WPRA Rodeo parade, which is 2 p.m. June 2.
Mattie Buckner, rodeo parade chairman, said this year’s theme is red, white and blue in support of U.S. troops. A color guard is expected from Fort Leonard Wood. Everyone is encouraged to participate. Entries include floats, cars, bicycles, clowns, horses and wagons.
Prizes are: first, $100; second, $75; and third, $50; best decorated horse and rider, $50; and best decorated wagon, $50.
The line up is at 1 p.m. at Licking High School. Horses and wagons are to line up at Deer Lick Park. All horses need proof negative Coggins test. For more information, call Buckner at 573-674-4634.
