Donald Lynn Wheeler was welcomed into this world at his Grandpa Wheeler’s home across Burton Branch Creek from where his family lived from the time he was six years old, in Ellis Prairie, Mo., on Sept. 22, 1936 by parents John Lynn “Bill” and Hazel Alma (Hayes) Wheeler. He passed away March 21, 2024 at the age of 87 years, and six months.
