The following reports were generated last week by the Texas County Sheriff’s Department.
•A Houston woman called at about 3:30 a.m. Aug. 28 to report that her former boyfriend was drunk and being loud at her Highway 17 residence. The man was gone when an investigating officer arrived.
•Military One called at midnight Sept. 1 and requested a well-being check on a Beeler Road man. An investigating officer determined the man had been drinking and was fine.
•A Houston woman called to report a prowler at her Morton Road residence at midnight Aug. 27. An investigating officer was unable to locate a suspect.
•A 71-year-old Cabool man reported on Sept. 8 that his Highway U residence had been vandalized and that several items inside had been broken or damaged. The man named relatives as suspects.
•The Mountain Grove Police Department called at about 9 a.m. Sept. 8 to report receiving multiple calls about an injured man walking along Little Creek Road. An investigating officer was unable to locate him.
•A woman called at about 2:15 p.m. Sept. 7 to report that a man kept closing the door on a shared storage shed. An investigating officer determined the door was on the man’s side of the shed, and he could close it if he wanted to.
•A 31-year-old Mountain Grove man reported at midnight Sept. 4 that copper wire and an air conditioner condensing unit had been stolen from his mother’s Bado Road residence.
The man named a 32-year-old Cabool man as a suspect. An investigating officer found a small empty liquor bottle at the scene, and it was taken as evidence and sent to a Missouri State Highway Patrol lab for DNA analysis.
•A representative of Intercounty Electric Cooperative reported on Sept. 3 that three transformers belonging to the firm had been found on a forestry road off of Success Road in Success. The copper material inside each of the units had been removed.
There are no suspects.
•A 59-year-old Yukon woman reported that a Polaris 250 ATV valued at $600 had been stolen from her Big Creek Road residence. The woman reportedly had previous problems with break-ins and thefts.
•Deputies were dispatched at about 11 p.m. Aug. 29 regarding a report of aggressive dogs running loose at a Fisher Drive trailer park. An investigating officer reported that no dogs were located.
•A man called at about 8:45 p.m. Sept. 3 to report an intoxicated person lying in the middle of Mineral Drive. An investigating officer was unable to locate anyone.
