The following are excerpts from reports generated by the Houston Police Department:
•An officer was dispatched at about 3:10 p.m. May 12 regarding a report of a domestic dispute at a Broadway Street residence.
Upon arrival, the officer made contact with a 29-year-old man and 41-year-old woman who were arguing about what the woman could take with her since she was leaving the man. The officer stood by while the woman gathered her belongings and left.
•Patrick A. Dodson, 35, of 309 S. Second St. in Houston, was arrested on May 15 for having an active City of Houston warrant for stealing under $500. The arrest was made by an officer who knew of the warrant when Dodson was observed walking on Oak Crest Drive. He was taken to jail.
•Edward L. Durbin, 43, of 1202 John St. in Houston, was cited for displaying the plates of another on May 15.
•At about 7 p.m. May 12, an officer assisted a Missouri Children’s Division worker with removing three children from a Cedar Street home, after their father and mother reportedly tested positive for methamphetamine. The kids were taken in by the worker until a suitable foster home would be found.
•Nadatha S. Walker, 25, of 21931 Scenic Road at Summersville, was ticketed for failure to register a motor vehicle and failure to show proof of insurance on May 12.
•Shane L. Briggs, 30, of 22707 Pike Lane at Hartshorn, was cited for stealing under $500 after allegedly shoplifting from Walmart on May 7.
