An annual event for kids and families is Saturday, Aug. 20, in Mountain Grove.
The sixth edition of Kids Fest is 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Tri-County Fairgrounds. This year’s theme is “Coming Together in Love.” All activities and food are free.
Organizations participating range from churches and civic groups to firemen, conservation agents and more.
“We still encourage donations and booth signups,” said organizer Rita Foster. “ If you’re a church or civic group, business or social agency, we encourage you to come and join us in providing three hours of free fun and food on the green for area families.”
