The following arrests were reported by the Missouri State Highway Patrol:
• Derick J. Cook, 24, of Summersville, was arrested last Wednesday afternoon on charges of felony possession of a controlled substance, two counts of unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, failure to register a motor vehicle, failure to maintain financial responsibility and not wear ing a properly adjusted seat belt. He was taken to the Texas County Jail for a 12-hour hold following his 3:07 p.m. arrest.
• Verner S. Hill, 32, of Licking, was arrested last Tuesday morning on charges of driving while intoxicated (prior offender), driving while suspended, no seat belt and failing to yield. He was taken to the Texas County Jail for a 12-hour hold.
