Abel James Ray Backues, three months old, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2016, 2016 at Texas County Memorial Hospital.
He was born Aug. 1, 2016, in Houston, son of Dalton Backues and Brandira York.
Survivors include his parents; two brothers, David Cover and Jayce Cover; his grandparents, Kevin and Pam York, Cherrie Thomas and James Backues; his great-grandparents, Pauline Woolf, Raymond and Dorothy York and Janet Chastain; and many other relatives and friends.
Services were Saturday, Nov. 12, at Fox Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Erin McConnell officiating. Burial was in Boone Creek Cemetery.
